Ever since that fateful day, I have always been fascinated with architectural design. While other kids my age played softball and rode bicycles, I explored treehouses, attics, and my dad's toolshed. Each time, I would marvel at how a few simple pieces of wood or stone could be assembled into something so grand.

On my 7th birthday, my dad surprised me by making one of his empty toolsheds "Allie's Place." Mom wasn't too happy about that!
